This is extremely important for a traceable software design, or if you are releasing a requirements definition for 3rd party vendors to use for estimating your development costs.
Software Design
Software design is the most important phase of the software project. Cosmic-I uses a UML software design methodology. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a standards based process for software design, and uses industry best practices. Our software designs are typically object oriented, so our design documentation includes use cases, class and interaction diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, etc. Our designs are traceable to the requirements involved.
Programming Services
Cosmic-I can provide software developers and programmers at hourly rates to supplement your development team where certain skills sets are required, be it with a particular programming style (object oriented, procedural, etc.), or with a specific language or development tool set. Cosmic-I has a wide range of programming language competencies from the very old to the latest and greatest.
Implementation and Testing
Cosmic-I offers formal implementation and testing services on all of our software projects. These activities are carefully planned and documented as step by step procedures. Clients sign off on these testing and implementation procedures before any software is implemented into a production environment.
Database Administration
Cosmic-I offers database administration services to customers who may have databases or database applications that are underperforming and in need of repair. DDA Solutions can also consult with your existing database administrator to assist with performance tuning, normalization, archiving, or other database services.
